We want everyone to be able to design and order a Royal Signet ring, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We keep improving the site, and we welcome your help.
What we do
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
- Every product photo and video has a written description.
- The ring designer works with a keyboard alone: Tab moves between the options, Enter or Space chooses one, and screen readers announce which option is selected.
- Pop-up windows, such as View Dimensions and the cart, take the keyboard focus and close with the Escape key.
- Our text and buttons meet the colour-contrast minimum, and you can zoom in on any page on your phone.
- We check the site with automated accessibility tests and a keyboard walk-through whenever we change it.
What is not perfect yet
- Some parts of the site come from other companies, such as the PayPal and Shop Pay payment buttons, the customer reviews and the chat window. We cannot change how they work, and some of them do not show where the keyboard is on the page.
- Uploading your own artwork needs a file from your device. If that is hard for you, email us your idea instead: our artists will design it with you for free.
